ARE WE ARE EVER GOING TO BE ABLE TO TRAVEL AGAIN?
I’ve sure been thinking about this. And I’m sure many of you have been as well.
I’ve done some research I’d like to share with you (It's focused on the state of COVID in British Columbia, but there's a pile of good stuff that's applicable beyond my own Province!):

As 2021 progresses, provincial restrictions for local travel should lessen as First Nation communities, Health Care Workers and the most vulnerable are vaccinated under BC’s Immunization Plan.
I am going to cross my fingers that by late spring or early summer, we will be able to travel outside our own bubbles, though I’m sure that we will be encouraged to STAY LOCAL for a little longer than that.
Disappointing, yes, because my heart has been set on going to Eastern Europe.
But…not devastating. In 2020, I discovered British Columbia. And what I found was…that MY OWN PROVINCE is amazing!
So…I’m super excited to travel local within BC! BUT...
SHOULD I WAIT UNTIL I’M VACCINATED? (August for me, a healthy, 59-year-old).
- What’s the risk if I travel to other regions in BC?
- Will I be safe?
So as I said, I did some research: I discovered:
A pile of important GLOBAL COVID-related websites that will ensure you make informed travel decisions.
What Air BnB’s are doing to ensure we're safe when we can travel again.
Some great and COVID-sensitive travel deals that are coming in 2021.
How many COVID cases are in the various BC Health Regions.
And I want to share those discoveries with you.
